New to reformer or been out of practice for some time? The Primer class is where you start. No judgement, no comparison: just you and your body. You'll be guided through the basic principles and classical exercises of Pilates as you build confidence to eventually progress to other classes at PLUM. There's no right answer to how many sessions you should attend before going to more challenging classes, but by maintaining a consistent practice, you won't be going to Primer classes for too long! The PLUM Method is designed to develop and deepen your practice, so you can feel the difference in your body.

Perfect is suitable for beginners all the way to advanced students. You can work as hard or as gentle as you want. Expect modifications and progressions for each exercise, so you won’t feel the need to do what everyone else is doing (Pilates is very much an intentional movement method). Come to Perfect if you’re unable to join a Power class or you’re ready to move on from Primer

Bounce is a full-body workout with a focus on low-impact cardiovascular exercises. Bounce blends classical pilates exercises with dynamic movements on the Jump board. Think high-energy, dynamic & full body. All skill levels are welcome (not advisable if you’re a newbie or pre & post natal). Bring a small towel - you're bound to break a sweat.

You've been to a few Tower classes and now you're ready for a bit more intensity. Think quicker transitions and greater challenges. This class is great if you already go to Perfect or Power reformer classes and are looking to ignite your Pilates practice. Tower Power will challenge your strength, stamina, stretch and stability. Expect a dynamic and invigorating workout that will leave you feeling empowered and noticeably stronger in your Pilates practice.

The Tower is a lesser-known Pilates apparatus with different spring tensions; it's similar to the reformer, but fixed to a vertical frame - expect new challenges and a different feeling! Tower Flow sessions combine elements from the mat and Cadillac Pilates repertoires, designed to even out muscular imbalances, strengthen the core, greatly improve spinal mobility & posture and overall body awareness. Tower Flow classes are open to all-skill levels.

PAUSE

On Sundays we reset, think of Pause as your weekly “MOT”. This is a great time to check in with your body through strengthening, lengthening and stretching movements. Expect to iron out any knots and niggles from the previous week. Pause classes are breath-led with a focus on alignment and balance, strengthening each side of your body so that you leave the session feeling a little taller and ready to take on the week ahead. Expect some classic Pilates exercises with delicious stretches to finish!
